This policy explains what happens to information when you play Ripplemere, a game for iPhone and iPad made by Poyralgo (“we”). It is short because the game collects very little.
- We do not collect any personal data. We have no servers that receive information from the game.
- No accounts, no adverts, no tracking and no analytics.
- Your progress and settings are saved on your device and in your own iCloud, through Apple.
- We never sell or share information, because we do not have any.
What we collect
Nothing. Ripplemere has no sign-up and no account. The game does not send your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, device identifiers or play activity to us or to anyone else, and it contains no advertising or analytics code.
Where your progress is kept
Your progress (levels, stars, pearls, unlocked creatures and best scores) and your settings are stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on, the game also keeps a copy in your own iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, so your pond follows you to your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
This copy lives in your Apple Account, under Apple’s privacy policy. We cannot see it or reach it.
Apple services the game uses
Game Center
Achievements use Apple’s Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center, the game tells Game Center when you earn an achievement. Apple runs Game Center under its own privacy policy; we do not receive or store your Game Center profile.
In-app purchase
The optional “Full game” purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The game only asks Apple whether the purchase has been made, so it can open the full game.
Fonts from Google
The game and this website load their fonts from Google Fonts. When a font is downloaded, your device connects to Google’s servers, which receive standard technical information such as your IP address. Google handles this under the Google Privacy Policy; no game data is sent.
Children
Ripplemere is made for all ages and is rated 4+. Because the game collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Deleting your data
- To start again, open Settings › Reset progress.
- Deleting the app removes the data stored on that device.
- The copy in iCloud belongs to your Apple Account; you can manage iCloud in your device’s Settings under your name › iCloud.
Changes to this policy
If the game ever changes what it does with information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches the App Store.
